Ah the wedding registry. No matter where you fall on the subject, wedding registries and gift lists are a part of wedding planning for most couples. Many couples love a registry because it’s a chance for them to pick out the gifts that they would like to receive and guests know the couple will love their gift. However, many are uncomfortable asking for gifts and may feel they have everything they need already and would rather use this moment to support a cause.
A charitable wedding registry could be a perfect option for a couple who has it all (or lives in a city-sized apartment), is not looking to receive gifts, and wants to make a positive impact with their wedding. Whether adding to an existing registry or setting up a charitable wedding registry, VOW is tailor made to suit your needs.

VOW for Girls gives you the option to create your own charitable wedding registry in less than 5 minutes!
Once you have decided that you would like to create your own charitable registry with VOW, you can simply click here to begin! Click 'Become a Fundraiser' and from here, you'll create an account with our fundraising platform, Classy. Then you will add your fundraising goal, end date (a few days after your wedding is usually a good bet), and create a short link. Be sure to opt into future communication to make sure you receive updates from VOW for Girls along the way! Next, you'll be asked to update your photo, we recommend including a picture of you and your partner to help any guests recognize your page. After that, you'll fill in some additional information

We highly recommend adding the link to your new charitable wedding registry to your wedding website (and if appropriate within your invitation suite) to allow guests to easily find your page. If you are looking for a shorter URL, please contact us and we will be happy to provide one.
By kicking off your fundraiser with a donation of your choosing, you will help encourage guests to join in and get involved. You have the option for this to be anonymous as well should you prefer.
And that’s it! The whole process takes no more than 5 minutes and 100% of the funds raised goes directly to grassroots efforts to end child marriage. Every dollar counts, as just $10 can provide school supplies for one girl for one month.
